The posting

Voor een groeiende maaltijdproducent in Olen zoeken we iemand die op termijn de dagelijkse keukenwerking mee in handen neemt. Vanuit een productiekeuken worden dagelijks ongeveer 800 verse maaltijden bereid en aan huis geleverd, voornamelijk aan senioren.

Dit is geen functie waarin je vanaf dag één alleen plant en delegeert. Je start voor ongeveer 80 tot 90% operationeel in de keuken. Terwijl je de productie, collega’s en leveringsroutes leert kennen, neem je stapsgewijs meer verantwoordelijkheid op voor de organisatie, bestellingen en begeleiding van het team. Je hoeft vandaag nog geen volwaardige teamleader te zijn, maar je hebt wel al verantwoordelijkheid opgenomen, zelfstandig beslissingen genomen of collega’s gecoördineerd.

Afhankelijk van de planning start je werkdag tussen 5 en 7 uur. Om 5 uur kunnen beginnen, moet voor jou dus praktisch haalbaar zijn. De werkdag eindigt wanneer de productie afgerond is, meestal tussen 12 en 14 uur. Daarnaast werk je één à twee zaterdagen per maand een korte ochtendshift.

Takenpakket

  • Je werkt actief mee aan de bereiding en portionering van 500 tot 1.000 maaltijden per dag
  • Je organiseert mee de dagelijkse productie, verdeelt het werk en bewaart het overzicht over de planning.
  • Je ondersteunt en begeleidt de kok, hulpkoks en medewerkers aan de portioneerlijn
  • Je bewaakt de smaak, kwaliteit, voedselveiligheid, voorraad en correcte uitvoering van de menu’s
  • Je groeit door naar verantwoordelijkheid over bestellingen, voorraad, foodcost en de opvolging van de resultaten.
  • Je leert de leveringsroutes kennen en springt indien nodig bij om bestellingen te bezorgen
  • Je denkt mee over efficiëntere processen en ondersteunt de overstap naar een nieuw digitaal systeem

Must-haves

  • Je hebt een oprechte interesse in voeding en kiest bewust voor kwalitatieve, herkenbare maaltijden voor senioren
  • Je wilt eerst zelf de volledige werking beheersen en bent bereid om dagelijks operationeel mee te werken
  • Je hebt al verantwoordelijkheid opgenomen, collega’s gecoördineerd of zelfstandig operationele beslissingen genomen en kunt dit met concrete voorbeelden aantonen.
  • Je kent de geldende HACCP- en veiligheidsvoorschriften en past deze correct toe
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B en bent inzetbaar tijdens de vroege werkuren en één à twee zaterdagen per maand

Nice-to-haves

  • Je hebt ervaring in een professionele keuken, grootkeuken, catering- of productieomgeving
  • Je beschikt over een koksdiploma of een andere relevante opleiding
  • Je hebt een basiskennis van Excel en leert vlot werken met nieuwe digitale systemen
  • Je hebt ervaring met voorraadbeheer, bestellingen of contacten met leveranciers
