Dan is deze functie iets voor jou. Op de Parkinsonafdeling staat de zorg volledig in het teken van de cliënt. Dit kan variëren van begeleiding tijdens de dagbehandeling of een kortdurend verblijf, tot intensieve zorg op de woonafdeling. Als verpleegkundige ben jij degene die niet alleen de lichamelijke zorg biedt, maar ook de kwaliteit van leven van de cliënt centraal stelt. Geen dag is hetzelfde. De ene dag neem je vrijwel alle zorg over, de andere dag stimuleer je cliënten juist om zelf zoveel mogelijk te doen. Dat vraagt van jou geduld, precisie en het vermogen om continu aan te voelen wat iemand op dat moment nodig heeft. Jij weet dat timing van medicatie en interventies cruciaal is bij Parkinson, en dat goede communicatie met artsen, therapeuten, collega's en familie het verschil kan maken.
