Elke dag rollen er tonnen staal door de productie, klaar om te worden verwerkt tot hoogwaardige eindproducten voor klanten in uiteenlopende sectoren. Achter die vlotte werking staat een sterk team van operators en techniekers, aangestuurd door voormannen die weten hoe ze structuur brengen, verantwoordelijkheid opnemen en collega's motiveren.

Voor een toonaangevende speler in de staalindustrie in de regio Mariakerke zijn we op zoek naar zo'n persoon.

In deze rol neem je de leiding over een productieploeg en zorg je ervoor dat mensen, machines en processen perfect op elkaar afgestemd zijn. Je komt terecht in een moderne productieomgeving waar staal wordt gezaagd, geboord, gestraald en afgewerkt volgens de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen. Samen met je team zorg je ervoor dat de productie efficiënt, veilig en volgens planning verloopt.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • De dagelijkse aansturing van twee ploegen magazijniers en operatoren die instaan voor de verwerking van grote staalconstructies, lange balken en diverse zaagactiviteiten
  • Een vlotte en efficiënte productieflow dankzij een nauwgezette opvolging van planning, kwaliteit, veiligheid en productiviteit op de werkvloer
  • Een coachende rol binnen het team, met aandacht voor begeleiding, evaluatiegesprekken, verlofplanning en de verdere ontwikkeling van medewerkers
  • Veel aanwezigheid tussen de mensen op de werkvloer, waarbij regelmatige rondgangen zorgen voor een goed zicht op de voortgang, uitdagingen en noden binnen de ploegen
  • Extra ondersteuning tijdens piekmomenten wanneer nodig, al ligt de focus voornamelijk op het coördineren, motiveren en aansturen van het team
  • Ervaring in het aansturen van een team binnen een technische, logistieke of productieomgeving, waarbij je mensen weet te motiveren en richting te geven
  • Een hands-on ingesteldheid gecombineerd met sterke organisatorische en communicatieve vaardigheden om de dagelijkse werking vlot te laten verlopen
  • Bereidheid om te werken in een 2-ploegenstelsel en je flexibel op te stellen binnen een dynamische productieomgeving
