Daarom zijn wij op zoek naar een nieuwe voorzitter. Wij zoeken een inspirerende psycholoog die past bij de vereniging: iemand die de psychologie met overtuiging vertegenwoordigt in het maatschappelijke en bestuurlijke veld, en die tegelijkertijd de kracht en diversiteit van de leden weet te verbinden. Een voorzitter die, samen met het algemeen bestuur en de directeur, richting geeft aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het NIP. Met oog voor het vak, voor de vereniging én voor de rol van de psychologie in de samenleving. Het NIP Het Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen (NIP) is met ruim 17.000 leden al 85 jaar de grootste beroepsvereniging van psychologen in Nederland. Wij zijn de vereniging van alle wetenschappelijk opgeleide psychologen, die vanaf hun studie en gedurende hun hele loopbaan, in alle werkvelden en op alle beroepsniveaus actief zijn. Het NIP behartigt de beroepsmatige en maatschappelijke belangen van psychologen, versterkt hun positie en bevordert de inzet van psychologische kennis in de samenleving. Wij verenigen en ondersteunen onze leden in hun beroepsuitoefening en dragen bij aan de kwaliteit van het vak door professionele normen te ontwikkelen en uit te dragen. Het NIP is een ambitieuze vereniging die in een dynamisch veld opereert waarin zorg, wetenschap en maatschappelijke vraagstukken steeds sterker met elkaar verweven zijn.
