The posting

Als vrachtwagenmecanicien ben je verantwoordelijk voor het preventief en curatief onderhoud van vrachtwagens, trekkers en opleggers. Je voert mechanische, elektrische en hydraulische herstellingen uit op componenten zoals motoren, versnellingsbakken, remsystemen (ABS/EBS), koelsystemen en pneumatische installaties. Je werkt met diagnoseapparatuur om storingen uit te lezen en te verhelpen volgens de richtlijnen van de constructeur.

Je dag start met een teamoverleg in de werkplaats. Daarna ga je aan de slag met onderhoudsbeurten, het vervangen van filters, olie en remblokken, het stellen van diagnoses met uitleesapparatuur, het herstellen van motorstoringen of het vervangen van onderdelen zoals koppelingsplaten, lagers of luchtveringen. Je werkt samen met collega-mecaniciens, magazijniers en de werkplaatsverantwoordelijke om de wagens zo snel mogelijk weer operationeel te krijgen.

  • Je bent gepassioneerd door vrachtwagens, zware voertuigen of industrieel rollend materieel.
  • Diploma hoger secundair onderwijs of professionele bachelor, bij voorkeur in autotechnieken of elektromechanica.
  • Ervaring met diagnosesystemen (bv. Texa, Bosch, Jaltest) is een troef.
  • Kennis van mechanica, hydraulica, elektriciteit en pneumatiek.
  • Je werkt graag samen in teamverband en streeft naar een uitstekende service voor klanten.
  • Bereidheid om op termijn deel te nemen aan wachtdiensten.
  • Je spreekt en schrijft vlot Nederlands.
