Voor een sterk groeiend familiebedrijf in regio Gent zoeken we een ervaren vrachtwagenmecanicien die zijn vak door en door kent. Deze multimerkengarage bouwde de voorbije 30 jaar een sterke reputatie op in onderhoud, herstellingen en depannage van vrachtwagens, opleggers en bedrijfsvoertuigen.

Door de uitbreiding van de vestiging in Gent krijg je de kans om mee te groeien in een moderne werkplaats waar jouw technische expertise wordt gewaardeerd. Geen eindeloze routine, maar uitdagende diagnoses, afwisselende herstellingen en een team van collega's dat dezelfde passie voor techniek deelt. Hier krijg je de vrijheid om zelfstandig te werken, de ondersteuning om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen en de waardering die een ervaren vrachtwagenmecanicien verdient.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als mecanicien neem je het volledige onderhoud en de herstellingen van vrachtwagens zelfstandig voor jouw rekening, van de eerste diagnose tot de laatste controle
  • Daarnaast analyseer je mechanische, elektrische en hydraulische defecten en zet je jouw technische kennis in om ook de meest complexe storingen efficiënt op te lossen
  • Binnen jouw functie vervang en herstel je onder andere remsystemen, luchtvering, ophangingen, motoronderdelen, versnellingsbakken en koppelingen, waarbij kwaliteit steeds vooropstaat
  • Tot slot werk je samen met een ervaren team aan een vlot draaiende werkplaats en zorg je ervoor dat elk voertuig veilig, betrouwbaar en in topconditie opnieuw de baan op kan
  • Een technische opleiding in mechanica, hydraulica of elektriciteit is mooi meegenomen, al telt een sterke praktijkervaring minstens even hard mee
  • Dankzij jouw hands-on mentaliteit en oog voor kwaliteit lever je elke dag nauwkeurig werk af en neem je verantwoordelijkheid voor jouw herstellingen
  • Ook een rijbewijs C is een mooie troef, al is dit zeker geen vereiste om deze functie succesvol uit te oefenen
