The posting

Voor een internationaal productiebedrijf zijn we op zoek naar een Warehouse Manager.

In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking van het magazijn en stuur je een team van magazijnmedewerkers aan.

Je zorgt ervoor dat alle logistieke processen vlot, veilig en efficiënt verlopen.

  • Aansturen, begeleiden en verder ontwikkelen van het magazijnteam.
  • Voeren van evaluatiegesprekken en ondersteunen van medewerkers in hun groei.
  • Beheren en optimaliseren van de voorraadniveaus.
  • Uitvoeren van stockcontroles en opvolgen van voorraadverschillen.
  • Samenwerken met aankoop- en productieteams om de voorraadbehoeften correct in te schatten.
  • Organiseren en coördineren van de dagelijkse magazijnactiviteiten.
  • Waken over orde, netheid en veiligheid binnen het magazijn.
  • Optimaliseren van opslagmethodes, materiaalstromen en ruimtegebruik.
  • Coördineren van de samenwerking tussen interne en externe magazijnen.
  • Opvolgen van logistieke partners en bijdragen aan een kwalitatieve dienstverlening.
  • Bewaken van leverbetrouwbaarheid voor zowel inkomende als uitgaande goederen.
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt bij operationele problemen en escalaties.
  • Opvolgen van KPI's en bijsturen waar nodig.
  • Initiëren van verbeterprojecten rond efficiëntie, kostenbeheersing en dienstverlening.
  • Samenwerken met andere vestigingen om logistieke processen verder te optimaliseren.
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een leidinggevende functie binnen een magazijnomgeving.
  • Ervaring binnen de voedingssector of een snel veranderende productieomgeving is een sterke troef.
  • Je hebt een grondige kennis van warehouse management systemen (WMS) en logistieke processen.
  • Ervaring met de implementatie van een WMS-systeem is mooi meegenomen.
  • Je bent een sterke coach die mensen weet te motiveren en te begeleiden.
  • Je werkt resultaatgericht en neemt graag initiatief.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Je bent analytisch sterk en houdt het overzicht, ook in drukke periodes.
