Grensarbeid zoekt voor DSV een Warehouse Manager

Ben jij de ervaren leidinggevende die geen enkele uitdaging uit de weg gaat? Wil jij graag de verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor een volledig nieuw warehouse? Jouw ervaring als warehouse manager binnen de logistiek komt tot z’n recht bij een van de topspelers in de logistieke markt.

Het aansturen van een enthousiast team waarbij jij samen met jouw team bijdraagt aan het verder optimaliseren van onze logistieke processen: jij werkt eraan mee.

Hoe je dit doet? Als warehouse manager ben je een essentiële schakel in ons logistieke proces. Samen met jouw team werk je aan het behalen van productiviteitsnormen, tijds- en kwaliteitseisen en het naleven van procedures en regels. Je geeft leiding aan teamleaders/supervisors die vaktechnisch teams aansturen van 3 tot 5 collega’s. Je bent niet alleen een leider, maar ook een coach. Je begeleidt en motiveert je teamleden, voert functionerings- en beoordelingsgesprekken en zorgt voor een prettige werksfeer. Dit krijg jij voor elkaar door het:

  • monitoren en bewaken van de uitvoering van de processen en deze afstemmen met andere interne afdelingen
  • proactief meedenken aan procesverbeteringen
  • verzorgen van managementinformatie aan de hand van vooraf afgesproken targets/KPI's
  • aansturen, coachen en begeleiden van jouw team.

Jouw team valt binnen DSV op door jullie vermogen om het beste uit elkaar naar boven te halen. Onze nieuwe locatie in Maastricht Airport is een operatie waarin eenheid en persoonlijk contact centraal staan! Niet alleen binnen jouw eigen team maar binnen ons gehele kantoor.

Jij brengt mee

  • een sterke persoonlijkheid en je weet hoe je teams moet aansturen
  • passie hebt voor de logistiek en dit ook weet over te brengen op anderen
  • een gestructureerde en oplossingsgerichte werkhouding
  • een goede ervaring hebt in een leidinggevende functie, het liefst binnen een logistieke 3PL omgeving
  • enige ervaring hebt met automatisering binnen de logistiek is een pré
  • kunt communiceren op alle levels in minimaal de Nederlandse en Engelse taal (in woord en geschrift).
