Voor een professionele en modern uitgeruste werkplaats gespecialiseerd in vans en trucks zijn we op zoek naar een Werkplaatsverantwoordelijke met sterke technische kennis en leidinggevende vaardigheden. In deze rol ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse werking, planning en kwaliteit van de werkplaats en zorg je ervoor dat zowel klanten als techniekers kunnen rekenen op een vlotte en efficiënte organisatie.

Je combineert technisch inzicht in zware voertuigen met een hands-on en coachende aanpak om de prestaties van het team en de werkplaats continu te optimaliseren.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden Organisatie & planning

  • Plannen en coördineren van onderhouds- en herstellingswerken aan vans en trucks
  • Opmaken en opvolgen van de dagelijkse en wekelijkse werkplaatsplanning
  • Bewaken van doorlooptijden, efficiëntie en rendabiliteit
  • Afstemmen met receptie, onderdelenmagazijn en andere betrokken afdelingen

Aansturing & people management

  • Aansturen, begeleiden en motiveren van het team techniekers
  • Taken verdelen op basis van competenties, ervaring en beschikbaarheid
  • Onthaal en begeleiding van nieuwe medewerkers
  • Organiseren van overlegmomenten en opvolgen van opleidingen

Techniek & kwaliteit

  • Toezien op correcte uitvoering van werken volgens technische richtlijnen
  • Ondersteuning bieden bij complexere technische vraagstukken en diagnoses
  • Uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles en eindinspecties
  • Waken over orde, netheid en veiligheid binnen de werkplaats

Administratie & opvolging

  • Opvolgen van werkorders, checklists en tijdsregistraties
  • Rapporteren over voortgang, prestaties en verbeterpunten
  • Actief bijdragen aan procesoptimalisatie en continue verbetering
  • Ruime ervaring in onderhoud en herstellingen aan vrachtwagens
  • Ervaring als leidinggevende
  • Hands-on mentaliteit gecombineerd met people management skills
  • Vlot in het Nederlands; kennis van Frans is een plus
  • In het bezit van een rijbewijs B, C is een plus
