Ben je een nieuwsgierige en enthousiaste onderzoeker, gepassioneerd door innovatieve textielmaterialen en duurzame processen? Kijk je ernaar uit om via praktijkgericht onderzoek de transitie naar een circulaire en gedigitaliseerde textiel- en kledingindustrie te stimuleren? Bij het onderzoekscentrum FTILab+ krijg je de kans om samen met 2400 collega’s het verschil te maken binnen een eigenzinnige, maatschappelijk geëngageerde hogeschool.

Wat ga je doen?

Je verricht praktijkgericht onderzoek binnen het onderzoekscentrum FTILab+ en draagt zo bij aan de vernieuwing van onderwijsprogramma’s en de integratie van nieuwe kennis en technologieën. Concreet sta je mee in voor de uitvoering en opvolging van diverse onderzoeksprojecten rond het verbeteren van materiaal- en producteigenschappen, het duurzamer maken van textielprocessen (verven, verdelen), en het ontwikkelen van smart textiles

  • Je doet onderzoek en ontwikkeling van materialen, processen en producten relevant voor de textiel- en kledingsector (bv. uitvoeren van kwaliteitstesten, verven en veredelen van textiel, spinnen, weven, breien, patronage en confectie, etc) ;
  • Je analyseert en interpreteert de proefresultaten en rapporteert aan de coördinator en collega-onderzoekers;
  • Je volgt technologische ontwikkelingen in de sector op en bouwt nieuwe onderzoeksprojecten uit;
  • Je organiseert communicatieacties voor de projecten (bv. stuurgroepvergaderingen, workshops, beursstand, e.d.);
  • Je staat in voor de verslaggeving over projecten;
  • Je organiseert en neemt deel aan acties voor disseminatie en valorisatie van onderzoeksresultaten (o.a. papers, presentaties op conferenties, ontwikkeling van lesmaterialen, enz.)
  • Je voert activiteiten uit in het kader van maatschappelijke en wetenschappelijke dienstverlening (testing, bedrijfsprojecten, e.d.)
  • Je begeleidt studenten die in het kader van hun bachelorproef, stage of project betrokken zijn bij het onderzoeksproject,

Aan welke voorwaarden voldoe je?

Om in aanmerking te komen voor deze vacature, voldoe je op het moment van je sollicitatie aan de volgende toelatingsvoorwaarden:

  • Je voldoet aan de bepalingen van artikel V. 106, 107 en 148 van de Codex Hoger Onderwijsvan 20 december 2013, inzake toegang tot de ambten;
  • Je bent in het bezit van een diploma van master of science in de industriële wetenschappen, master of science in de ingenieurswetenschappen, master in de chemie of biochemie, master in de beeldende kunsten, textielontwerp of in een aanverwant domein in textiel of gelijkgeschakeld, of gelijkwaardig buitenlands diploma.
