Business Development Consultant – Lead Generator & Community Connector (Eden Prairie, MN and surrounding area)

Exit Factor of Minnetonka is looking for a high‑energy Business Development Consultant who thrives on building relationships with small and mid‑sized business owners. This is a 1099 commission‑only role ideal for someone who loves networking, generating leads, and owning their income potential.

If you're motivated, great with people, and good at creating conversations that turn into opportunities, you will excel here.

What You’ll Do

  • Generate 20–30 qualified leads per month from local business owners
  • Network with CPAs, lenders, wealth advisors, attorneys, and other referral partners
  • Attend community events, business groups, networking functions, and owner meetups
  • Conduct discovery conversations with business owners
  • · Close 3 or more Exit Assessments per month
  • Use our CRM to manage your pipeline and follow up efficiently
  • Build your own market presence with full brand and marketing support from Exit Factor

Compensation

  • Commission Only: Earn the first $2,000 of every engagement you close
  • · Typical earnings: $80,000–$150,000+ per year
  • Unlimited upside — you keep what you close
  • 1099 contractor (full autonomy, flexible schedule)

Ideal Candidate

We want someone who LOVES generating business-owner conversations.

You should have:

  • 10+ years in B2B sales, business consulting, or relationship-based selling
  • Proven ability to self‑generate leads (networking, referrals, partnerships, events)
  • Strong communication and discovery skills
  • Confidence and credibility with business owners
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
  • Comfort with commission‑only compensation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and high personal accountability

Must live locally in the Eden Prairie, MN area.

Training & Support

  • Required Exit Factor Certification (West Palm Beach, FL)
  • Ongoing sales coaching and skill development
  • HubSpot CRM
  • Marketing materials, scripts, and proven sales methodology
