Sommaire du poste

À l'intérieur de l'équipe Réflectométrie, votre principale responsabilité sera de gérer le groupe de développement logiciel relié à notre gamme de produits OTDR. Ce groupe doit supporter efficacement les activités locales de développement de produits, en plus de favoriser le développement conjoint avec les autre équipes. Le gestionnaire sera responsable de la mise en place des stratégies de développement permettant des gains d’efficacité et de réutilisation des composantes logicielles dans divers environnements d’exécution. Il sera également responsable de l’évolution et la diffusion des meilleurs pratiques de l’industrie au sein du groupe.

Votre rôle

À titre de gestionnaire, celui-ci s’assure que les employés sous sa supervision disposent de toutes les ressources (matérielles et autres) nécessaires à l’atteinte de leurs objectifs. Il est responsable de la formation continue, de l’évaluation des membres de son équipe et du développement de leurs compétences.

Plus spécifiquement, le poste exige les éléments suivants:

· Assurer la mobilisation de son équipe;

· Assurer l’embauche des employés de son équipe;

· Effectuer les évaluations de rendement;

· S'assurer de la répartition des tâches à l'intérieur des divers projets;

· Participation aux planification préliminaires des fonctionnalités/produits à moyen & long terme;

· Responsable des choix technologiques pouvant influencer sur les architectures logicielles de son groupe;

· Élabore et assure la vision stratégique du secteur en lien avec les objectifs stratégiques de l'unité d'affaires;

· Assurer la communication inter-discipline et inter-sites.

Ce que nous recherchons

Compétences techniques

· Excellente connaissance des processus de développement et méthodologies logiciel (Agile, Intégration continue, stratégie d’automatisation des tests, etc);

· Bonne connaissance des outils de développement (voûtes et outils de gestion des versions et d’intégration continue, etc);·

· Expérience de la méthode de développement AGILE, SCRUM, SAFE;

· A participer à des développements matériels et logiciel combiné;

· Expérience dans le développement avec des équipes multidisciplinaires et multisites.

Aptitudes requises

· Possède un bon leadership, capacité de mobiliser une équipe;

· Aptitudes à créer un climat de confiance;

· Orienté vers l'action et les résultats:

· Responsable du développement des employés sous sa supervision;

· Excellent communicateur oral et écrit;

· Capacité à résoudre des problèmes et gérer les situations difficiles;

· Excellente capacité de gestion des priorités et d'organisation du travail / temps.

Exigences

Expérience pertinente : Minimum de 10 ans d’expérience en développement logiciel et de 3 ans en tant que gestionnaire ou coordonnateur d'une équipe dans un environnement de haute technologie;

Exigence linguistique : Bilingue : Français et Anglais (parlé et écrit).

Formation: Baccalauréat en génie logiciel, électrique ou informatique.

Toute combinaison études/expériences pertinentes sera considérée.
