Sommaire du rôle

Ce stage offre une expérience concrète combinant travaux de laboratoire, analyse de données, programmation et développement d’algorithmes appliqués à l’instrumentation optique. Vous participerez à la conception, à la validation et à l’amélioration de solutions innovantes utilisées dans des produits de haute technologie, tout en étant encadré par des experts du domaine. Ce stage s’adresse à une personne étudiante curieuse, autonome et intéressée par le traitement du signal, la programmation ainsi que les applications concrètes de la mesure en environnement industriel.

Responsabilités principales

En tant que stagiaire au sein d’une équipe multidisciplinaire chez EXFO, vous participerez à différentes étapes du développement de systèmes de tests et de mesures pour la fibre optique.

Vos principales responsabilités incluent :

  • Travaux pratiques en laboratoire et réalisation de montages ;
  • Analyse de résultats et programmation de base (Matlab, Python, C++) ;
  • Participation à la conception et au développement d’algorithmes d’acquisition et de traitement des données d’instrumentation optique ;
  • Développement et maintien d’outils logiciels pour l’opération, l’étalonnage et la validation des produits ;
  • Évaluation de l’impact des algorithmes sur la performance des produits en interaction avec les concepteurs en instrumentation optique ;
  • Mise en place de stratégies de validation et de qualification des algorithmes ;
  • Toute autre tâche connexe à l’emploi.

Profil recherché

  • Étudiant(e) en génie physique, génie électronique, génie électrique ou formation équivalente ;
  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (parlé et écrit) ;
  • Expérience ou intérêt pour le traitement de signal et en instrumentation;
  • Connaissance des méthodes de filtrage et de traitement des données d’instrumentation ;
  • Aisance en programmation (Matlab, Python, C++, C#) ;
  • Connaissance et expérience en électronique et en instrumentation optique (atout);
  • Aisance en manipulation de la fibre optique et des équipements de laboratoire (atout)
  • Curiosité, ténacité et passion pour la technologie ;
  • Débrouillardise, autonomie et organisation ;
  • Souci du détail et de la qualité du travail ;
  • Capacité à travailler en équipe et dans un cadre multiprojet ;
  • Intérêt pour l’utilisation concrète de la mesure.
