Job Description

Responsible for Client management and day to day business delivery

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, monthly and periodic deliverables as per business requirements
  • Provide variance analysis on the required reports
  • Deliver on various reports during Actual and forecast periods
  • Partner with onshore team to escalate high aged open items, prepare aging reports, etc.
  • Providing internal and external audit support
  • Should establish robust governance structure to ensure highest quality levels of performance is achieved
  • Should be able to understand & anticipate clients’ business needs, concerns & issues, and be able to proactively resolve the same
  • Liaise with On-shore stake holders and complete all the activities for self and the team
  • Provide analytical support for any special projects
  • Use Workday financial tools to calculate and manage insurance premiums and track payments
  • Oversee insurance journal entries and adjustments in Workday, maintaining accuracy and account reconciliations
  • Assign daily tasks and responsibilities and set up half-yearly and annual goals for the team
  • Create a client centric environment with key focus on appropriate and transparent communication; recognition and rewards aligned to client objectives and vision
  • Keep oneself abreast of all the updates applicable to policies/regulations / compliance applicable to the function/organization and client
  • Create systems and checks for internal compliance policies and guidelines and ensure maintenance of clear and precise records per the requirements
  • Ability to lead the Workday Accounting Center workstream in at least three full Workday modules.
  • Translating business needs into Workday configuration elements
  • Configuring and customizing the Workday Accounting Center platform to align with the organization’s processes and requirements
  • Providing best practice recommendations based on industry expertise
  • Prior experience in implementing or supporting Workday Finance functionality is highly preferred

Managing functional discovery, design sessions, and related touchpoints with other Workday modules

Qualifications

Graduate in Accounting or MBA Finance or CA 10-12 years of experience in FP&A.

  • 10+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Excellent in Workday, MS Excel and MS Office is must along with Power point presentations
  • Should have in depth knowledge of Financial close period
  • Preferred functional and practical knowledge of MACRO’s and VBA coding
  • Quantitative, comprehension and data interpretation skills
  • Structured problem-solving (Must have)
