ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Agent in Training, you'll work alongside experienced insurance professionals while learning how to generate new business, build customer relationships, and develop effective sales strategies.

This is a sales-focused opportunity where you'll be responsible for connecting with prospective customers, identifying their needs, recommending coverage, and working toward measurable production goals.

You'll gain practical experience in insurance sales and customer service while developing valuable skills that can support long-term professional growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Generate new business through outbound calls, agency-provided leads, referrals, networking, and community outreach.

- Connect with prospective customers, assess their insurance needs, and recommend appropriate coverage options.

- Prepare quotes, explain policy benefits, overcome objections, and confidently ask for the sale.

- Sell and cross-sell Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance products.

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.

- Manage an organized sales pipeline using CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.

- Work toward individual and agency sales goals while continuously developing your sales abilities.

- Stay informed about insurance products, coverage options, and industry requirements.

- Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and professional development.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Motivated, goal-oriented individuals who enjoy working toward measurable results.

- Strong communication skills and confidence connecting with new people.

- Comfortable making outbound calls, following up with prospects, and asking for the sale.

- Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to take initiative.

- Organized with strong time-management skills and consistent follow-through.

- Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn new skills.

- Previous sales, customer service, or insurance experience is preferred but not required.

- Currently holds or is willing to obtain the required Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance licenses. Licensing support is available.

- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
