WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of our sales team, you'll help individuals, families, and businesses find insurance coverage that meets their needs while contributing to the continued growth of the agency.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Generate new business opportunities through agency-provided leads, outbound calls, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
- Connect with prospective customers, understand their priorities, and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.
- Prepare quotes, explain policy options, and sell Auto, Home, Life, Business, and other available insurance products.
- Build and maintain an active sales pipeline through consistent communication and follow-up.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to help existing customers address additional coverage needs.
- Develop lasting customer relationships that encourage retention, referrals, and future business.
- Work toward individual sales targets while supporting the agency's overall growth objectives.
- Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're seeking someone who brings energy, determination, and a genuine desire to grow professionally.
Our ideal candidate:
- Has excellent communication skills and enjoys connecting with new people.
- Is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by performance-based earning opportunities.
- Feels comfortable making outbound calls, following up with prospects, and confidently asking for the sale.
- Demonstrates persistence, resilience, and a positive attitude when facing challenges or rejection.
- Welcomes feedback and is eager to develop new sales techniques and industry knowledge.
- Possesses strong organizational skills, time management, and consistent follow-through.
- Has previous experience in sales, customer service, or another customer-facing environment (preferred, but not required).
- Currently holds a Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance license, or is willing to obtain the required licensing.
