Als Werkstudent (w/m/d) im Bereich Data Science & AI wirst du Teil des Data & AI-Teams von FLEX Capital und arbeitest an der Entwicklung und Umsetzung datengetriebener Lösungen für unsere Portfoliounternehmen sowie interne Projekte. Du unterstützt das Team nicht nur operativ, sondern übernimmst – je nach Erfahrung – auch eigene Projekte von der Konzeption über die Umsetzung bis zum Deployment. Damit bekommst du die Chance, praktische Verantwortung zu übernehmen und reale AI-Anwendungen in einem professionellen Umfeld mitzugestalten.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Unterstützung bei AI-Projekten: Mitarbeit bei der Entwicklung von Machine-Learning- und LLM-basierten Lösungen (z. B. RAG-Systeme, Chatbots, Automatisierungen).
  • Eigene Projekte: Übernahme klar abgegrenzter Teilprojekte oder eigenständiger Use Cases – von der Idee über das Prototyping bis zur produktiven Umsetzung.
  • Agentic & LLM Use Cases: Mitarbeit bei der Konzeption und Implementierung von AI-Agenten und intelligenten Automatisierungen (z.B. im Bereich Kundensupport)
  • Machine Learning & Analytics: Unterstützung bei klassischen ML-Aufgaben, Modelltraining, Evaluierung sowie explorativen Analysen und KPI-Deep-Dives.
  • Sparring & Austausch: Enge Zusammenarbeit mit erfahrenen Data Scientists und AI Engineers – du arbeitest nicht „zu“, sondern „mit“.

Wen Wir suchen:

  • Laufendes Studium (Bachelor oder Master) in Physik, Mathematik, Informatik, Elektro- oder Informationstechnik, Data Science oder einem vergleichbaren Fach.
  • Erste praktische Erfahrung in Machine Learning, Data Science oder LLMs – z. B. durch Projekte, Praktika, Uni-Arbeiten oder eigene Experimente.
  • Gute Programmierkenntnisse in Python; Erfahrung mit Frameworks wie PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, LangChain oder Hugging Face ist ein Plus.
  • Grundverständnis von Datenbanken, Datenverarbeitung und idealerweise ersten Berührungspunkten mit Cloud-Umgebungen.
  • Analytische Denkweise, strukturiertes Arbeiten und Freude daran, Probleme pragmatisch zu lösen.
  • Lust, Verantwortung zu übernehmen, Neues zu lernen und Dinge wirklich umzusetzen – nicht nur Folien zu bauen.
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
