Job Description

We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.

As part of the Human Resources team, the text explains that you'll help attract, hire, and retain top talent needed to achieve the company's bold vision. It states you'll play a vital role in defining, developing, and maintaining a winning culture that empowers diverse individuals to work together and create the impossible. The excerpt notes they're seeking change leaders, talent strategists, employee advocates, and culture architects to help enable teams, partners, and businesses to do and be their best.

In this position..

  • You will leverage your expertise in labor relations and employee engagement to collaborate with UAW leadership, Trust representatives, and external partners. You will develop and implement innovative wellness solutions that enhance employee access to support resources, drive operational excellence and service effectiveness.
  • More specifically, you will be responsible for developing annual ESSP Representative educational conferences with 70+ attendees, oversee the management of plant fitness centers, conduct early intervention training, support Employee Support Services Program (ESSP) Representatives and play a key role in supporting national-level collective bargaining activities.
  • In addition, you will play a critical role in ensuring health care vendors deliver exceptional value and service to employees by leveraging insights and employee feedback to understand their needs and experiences. In this role, you will help shape the future of our health and wellness programs by evaluating, designing, and continuously optimizing comprehensive, cost-effective solutions that balance business objectives, contractual commitments, and the evolving needs of employees and their families.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with UAW leadership and ESSP Representatives to provide strategic guidance and support initiatives that improve employee wellness and engagement.
  • Develop and deliver the annual training program for ESSP Representatives by identifying and addressing gaps in training, processes, and program effectiveness.
  • Administer annual intervention training as contractually required.
  • Support and participate in 2028 collective bargaining activities by providing subject matter expertise, data analysis, benchmarking, cost modeling, proposal development, and implementation planning related to the healthcare program and wellness programs.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for various programs ensuring program effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic oversight of vendor relationships and performance, establishing service expectations, monitoring key performance indicators, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving optimal employee experience, quality, and financial outcomes.
  • Investigate and resolve complex employee and stakeholder escalations, building strong relationships founded on trust, respect, and responsiveness to prevent issues from becoming significant concerns.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify, engage, and coordinate the appropriate cross-functional resources, including Labor Affairs, Security, Medical, Office of General Counsel, Health Care Operations, Purchasing, Communications, Finance, and UAW leadership, to address issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, plan governance requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations through the development, maintenance, and review Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), Plan Documents, and related communications.
  • Develop and draft collective bargaining agreement language related to assigned programs and benefits.
  • Support the development, review, and delivery of your areas of responsibility for annual enrollment communication materials, ensuring employees have clear, accurate, and timely information regarding available benefits and program changes.
  • Provide strategic analysis and thought leadership by leveraging employee feedback, utilization data, workforce demographics, benchmarking, market trends, and cost evaluations to develop recommendations that optimize health, wellness, and support programs and better meet the evolving needs of employees and their families.
  • Apply Lean Principles and continuous improvement methodologies to any benefit changes or issues ensuring we have solved the right problem to drive best-in-class operational performance.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations that communicate program effectiveness, business impact, risk considerations, and strategic opportunities as required.

  • Involves occasional (defined as one-third or less of the time) lifting of no more than 10 pounds at a time. Work is performed primarily in a seated position and entails no significant stooping, standing, climbing, walking, etc. Many sedentary jobs require good use of the hands and fingers for repetitive hand-finger actions. Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
