Over de functie

Als Mechanical Engineer word je onderdeel van een gespecialiseerd engineeringteam van zes engineers in Opmeer. Samen ontwikkelen en verbeteren jullie machines voor de verwerking van eenden en kalkoenen.

Je vertaalt klantwensen naar slimme, betrouwbare en praktische mechanische oplossingen. Daarbij ligt de nadruk op het optimaliseren van bestaande machines, maar werk je ook mee aan nieuwe producten en technologieën.

Door de korte lijnen en de omvang van het team krijg je veel verantwoordelijkheid en zie je direct resultaat van jouw werk.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Ontwerpen, aanpassen en optimaliseren van mechanische machineonderdelen en samenstellingen.
  • Vertalen van klantwensen naar technische oplossingen.
  • Verbeteren van bestaande machines op het gebied van prestaties, hygiëne en betrouwbaarheid.
  • Ontwikkelen van nieuwe machines en doorontwikkelen van bestaande platformen.
  • Uitwerken van ontwerpen in Autodesk Inventor.
  • Opstellen en beheren van technische tekeningen, documentatie en stuklijsten (BOM’s).
  • Samenwerken met engineers uit verschillende disciplines aan complete klantoplossingen.

Jouw bijdrage: je vertaalt technische ideeën naar robuuste, efficiënte en productieklare machines die wereldwijd impact maken.

Wat breng je mee?

  • Een afgeronde hbo-opleiding Werktuigbouwkunde, Mechatronica of vergelijkbaar.
  • Ervaring met mechanical engineering, bij voorkeur in de machinebouw of food processing.
  • Kennis van CAD-software, bij voorkeur Autodesk Inventor.
  • Ervaring met PDM/PLM-systemen en technische documentatie is een pré.
  • Een nauwkeurige en oplossingsgerichte werkhouding.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Een teamgerichte instelling en interesse in internationale projecten.
  • Bereidheid om incidenteel te reizen (circa 5-10%).
