L'aventure Foxtrot Industriel

Projet né à l'Université de Sherbrooke entre 2018 et 2020 par ses fondateurs ingénieurs Benoît Serrano-Parent et Charles-Éric Raymond, l'entreprise a rapidement démontré l'efficacité de ses prototypes sur le terrain avant de conclure une première transaction majeure auprès d’une entreprise renommée.

Aujourd'hui basée à Saint-Hyacinthe, Foxtrot conçoit et fabrique au Québec des robots mobiles et chariots motorisés télécommandés sans fil (gammes TANGO, SOLO 10/20/60 et OMNI). Ces équipements permettent de déplacer des charges colossales de 20 à 60 tonnes dans des espaces industriels extrêmement restreints sans recourir aux grues ni aux ponts roulants. Nos solutions font économiser du temps, de l'espace et de la main-d'œuvre tout en éliminant les risques d'accident.

Le contexte: En pleine phase d'industrialisation pour doubler notre production par mois, Foxtrot cherche un esprit pratique pour optimiser la chaîne d'assemblage et la fabrication. Rattaché directement aux opérations, vous serez le pont entre la conception 3D, le plancher de montage et nos partenaires sous-traitants.

Vos responsabilités au quotidien

  • Revoir l'aménagement des postes de travail (layout) pour rationaliser le flux de montage des robots.
  • Concevoir des gabarits et outils facilitant le travail quotidien des électromécaniciens et assembleurs.
  • Analyser les pièces métalliques et sous-ensembles pour déterminer s'il est préférable de les fabriquer en interne ou de les confier à des sous-traitants.
  • Identifier des partenaires sous-traitants (usinage, découpe laser, peinture, soudure), évaluer leurs coûts et leur fournir la documentation technique complète.
  • Produire et mettre à jour les dessins de fabrication 3D et rédiger les instructions d'assemblage.

Le profil recherché

  • Baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou pertinent (ou formation technique / DEC équivalent).
  • Bonne compréhension des procédés de transformation métallique (découpe de métal, usinage, peinture, soudure).
  • Maîtrise des logiciels de modélisation 3D et lecture de plans.
  • Connaissance des concepts d'amélioration continue et d'optimisation des procédés manufacturiers.
  • Français et anglais fonctionnel (compréhension écrite et orale des documents techniques).
  • Esprit d'équipe, présence sur le terrain et créativité pour résoudre des problèmes mécaniques concrets.
