Your Role

Freshly cooked food. Everywhere. All the time.

With our robots, we’re transforming the way the world cooks and enjoys food. Through technology that empowers the foodservice industry, automates fresh meal preparation, and elevates culinary quality to a new, scalable level. Accessible to everyone. Everywhere. Anytime. We give our all to make this happen – across every level, team and function.

As Deployment Engineer, you make sure our robotic kitchens are prepared correctly and run reliably in the field. You install and configure operating systems and the required components on our edge servers, deploy release updates, verify system health, and troubleshoot technical issues across Kubernetes, Linux, networking, server hardware, and applications. You work with established processes and tools while continuously expanding your knowledge of our systems and technologies.

These are the tasks you will be responsible for:

  • Edge-server preparation & deployment: You prepare the edge servers that run our robotic kitchens – from checking the server hardware and installing the operating system to configuring the required system and application components.
  • Software release deployments: You deploy release updates to our robotic kitchens using our existing processes and tools, and verify that the systems and applications are working correctly before and after deployment.
  • Kubernetes operations: You deploy and operate applications in existing Kubernetes environments and investigate workload issues using logs, events, resource status, and configuration.
  • System troubleshooting: You investigate technical issues systematically across applications, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and server hardware. You gather the relevant information, identify possible causes, resolve manageable issues, and provide clear findings when support from another team is required.
  • System health & maintenance: You monitor the health of deployed systems, perform routine maintenance, and follow established procedures for updates, backups, recovery, and other operational activities.
  • Documentation & collaboration: You document deployments, technical findings, and solutions, and work closely with DevOps, Software, Robotics, Manufacturing, and Operations to keep our robotic kitchens running reliably.
  • Continuous improvement: You contribute to improving deployment procedures, troubleshooting guides, scripts, and automation as your knowledge of our environment grows.

Your profile

You’re passionate about innovative technologies, excited about the role, and ready to help us revolutionize the worlds of tech and culinary even further? Let’s get cooking!

These are the qualities helping you thrive in this role:

  • Linux foundation: You have a solid grasp of Linux systems and feel at home on the command line. You understand core concepts like services, processes, permissions, logs, storage, and resource usage – and you can install and set up the basic configuration of a Linux OS yourself.
  • Kubernetes & containers: You understand container fundamentals and bring hands-on Kubernetes experience – deploying and troubleshooting containerized workloads in an existing cluster. Logs, events, resource status, and configuration are your go-to tools for investigating common issues.
  • Troubleshooting mindset: You tackle unfamiliar technical problems in a structured way – gathering information, checking logs and system state, testing assumptions, and narrowing down causes. You don't need to have seen every issue before; you just know how to start digging.
  • Infrastructure know-how: You understand networking fundamentals like IP addressing, gateways, DNS, DHCP, ports, and connectivity, and you know your way around core server hardware – CPU, memory, storage, network interfaces. You can run basic troubleshooting on both.
  • Scripting & release workflows: You bring basic scripting skills, ideally in Bash or Python – reading and adapting existing scripts, working with config files, and building simple automation. You're also comfortable with Git and understand repositories, branches, commits, tags, and release versions.
  • Hands-on edge & robotics mindset: You love working close to the hardware and are drawn to self-managed edge infrastructure – not just cloud-based systems.
  • Learning, collaboration & languages: You're eager to learn, enjoy new technical challenges, and bring a careful, reliable approach. You thrive in cross-functional teams, communicate your findings clearly, and are fluent in English.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
