The posting

Company Description

At Greencross Kawana Waters, you’ll take the lead of a tight-knit, experienced team who genuinely enjoy what they do, and where they do it. Just minutes from the Sunshine Coast’s best beaches, this clinic offers the lifestyle balance you’ve been craving, without stepping back from clinical challenge or leadership growth.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced vet who’s ready to guide, mentor and shape the next generation. You’ll be leading a friendly, supportive team of 5 vets and 6 nurses, including a recent grad and a new grad who are eager to learn from you.

You’ll have the autonomy to run the clinic your way, with the backing of an Area Manager and Regional Clinical Director who’ll support your ideas and help you put them into action.

The current Veterinary Director is stepping into a specialist training pathway, leaving a well-run clinic and motivated team ready for their next chapter.

The Clinic

Located next to Petbarn, Greencross Kawana Waters is designed for great workflow and modern practice:

  • 4 consult rooms and 2 surgical theatres
  • Separate feline waiting area, cat ward and dog ward
  • Ultrasound, digital radiography and IM3 dental setup
  • Access to network-wide clinical support, education and AI note-taking technology

We’re known for our down-to-earth team culture, where everyone looks out for each other and enjoys coming to work.

The Lifestyle

Imagine finishing a rewarding day in surgery and heading straight to the beach for a swim, surf or sunset walk. The Sunshine Coast offers an easy, laid-back lifestyle with everything you need close by, including great schools, cafés, hinterland hikes and weekend escapes to Noosa or Brisbane.

What’s on Offer

  • Attractive salary package (based on experience)
  • 5 weeks of annual leave (including 1 week study leave)
  • Funded CPD + CE allowance and access to the Greencross Clinical Conference
  • Mental health and wellbeing support, including 24/7 counselling via Telus
  • Visa and relocation assistance available for eligible international vets

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience
  • Strong surgical and/or medical skills
  • Ability to mentor and support less-experienced vets
  • A genuine passion for leadership and high-quality care
  • Eligibility for veterinary registration in Australia

Ready to make your next move?

We’d love to show you what makes Kawana Waters one of the most rewarding leadership roles in the Greencross network. To learn more about the clinic, the team and what’s possible for your next step, reach out to Marta on [email protected] or +61 421 705 547.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
