Ontdek hieronder de uitdagingen en beloningen die gepaard gaan met de rol van Business Analyst TMS bij H.Essers in Genk.JOUW UITDAGINGENAls Business Analyst TMS maak je deel uit van een enthousiast en gedreven team dat bouwt aan oplossingen in het in-house ontwikkelde Transport Management Systeem (TMS). Je vormt daarbij de lijm tussen de externe klanten, de interne operationele afdelingen en de technische achterban.Het TMS team ondersteunt onze transport organisatie reeds sinds 1985 in het uitvoeren van hun operationele processen en taken. De organisatie hanteert een duidelijke strategische focus en kent een sterke groei met verschillende vestigingen in binnen- en buitenland. Om deze groei en strategische focus te kunnen ondersteunen dient het IT landschap voortdurend mee te evolueren. Zo bouw je bijvoorbeeld mee aan ons state-of-the-art cloud-based customer portal of de nieuwe synchromodale planningstools waarmee we het voortdurend uitbreidende H.Essers transportnetwerk zo optimaal mogelijk benutten. Procesmatig denken, stakeholder management en change management zijn hierbij de sleutels tot succes.Wat doe je concreet?

  • Je brengt de behoeften van de interne en externe klanten in kaart.
  • Je streeft ernaar om de wensen van eindgebruikers, bedrijfsdoelen en technische mogelijkheden op 1 lijn te krijgen.
  • Met je gestructureerde aanpak zorg je ervoor dat de technische teams op de hoogte zijn van wat er moet gebeuren.
  • Je stelt een test- en implementatieplan op.
  • Je begeleidt klanten en interne gebruikers doorheen het hele integratietraject.
  • Je bent de owner van een of meerdere TMS-modules en documenteert je analyses structureel in het uitgetekende module landschap.
  • Je slaagt erin om simultaan een aantal projecten in goede banen te leiden.
  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in een economische richting, bij voorkeur logistiek of een gelijkaardige achtergrond op basis van ervaring.
  • Je hebt een uitgesproken interesse in supply chain en bent gebeten om daar op termijn bepalend in te worden.
  • Door je opgedane werkervaring kan je met een kritische blik de zaken dan weer conceptueel uitdenken en voorstellen.
  • Je werkt resultaatgericht, met aandacht voor risico’s en kwaliteit.
  • Je geniet van afwisseling, zelfstandig werken en teamwork én wacht niet om interessante ideeën te delen met de business of collega IT’ers.
  • Je kan zowel mondeling als schriftelijk vlot en helder communiceren op verschillende niveaus, zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels.
