Over de organisatie

Werving- en selectiekantoor Hays is voor een internationale industriële organisatie in Ieper op zoek naar een HSE Manager. Veiligheid staat binnen de site hoog op de agenda. Door bijkomende activiteiten, verschillende veiligheidsuitdagingen en de uitgebreide rapportering naar Europa wil de organisatie het bestaande HSE-team verder versterken.

Jouw nieuwe functie

Als HSE Manager neem je een zichtbare en operationele rol op binnen de site. Je beweegt vlot tussen het management en de werkvloer en helpt de veiligheidscultuur verder uit te bouwen.Samen met het bestaande HSE-team zet je veiligheid structureel op de kaart. Daarbij krijg je onder meer te maken met:

  • risicoanalyses, werkplekinspecties en het opvolgen van preventiemaatregelen;
  • onderzoek naar arbeidsongevallen en incidenten, inclusief corrigerende acties;
  • opvolging van veiligheids- en milieuwetgeving;
  • HSE-documentatie, audits en rapporteringen;
  • communicatie en rapportering naar het lokale management en Europa;
  • veiligheidstrainingen en campagnes om veilig werken op de vloer verder te stimuleren;
  • operationele veiligheidsvraagstukken, waaronder het correcte gebruik van PBM's;
  • HSE-opvolging bij projecten, zoals de verdere optimalisatie van de waterzuivering en bijkomende productieactiviteiten.

Je rapporteert aan de Plant Manager. Je bent daarbij niet alleen met administratie en rapportering bezig, maar bent nadrukkelijk aanwezig op de werkvloer. Tegelijk vertegenwoordig je de site professioneel tijdens gesprekken en presentaties richting Europa.

Jouw profiel

Voor deze functie zoeken we iemand die veiligheid zichtbaar uitdraagt en anderen kan meenemen in het veiligheidsverhaal.

  • Je beschikt over minstens een bachelordiploma.
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen een industriële omgeving. Ervaring binnen chemie of een multinationale omgeving is een sterke meerwaarde.
  • Een attest als preventieadviseur is geen absolute vereiste. Niveau 1 is ideaal, maar ook met niveau 2 of 3 en de ambitie om je verder te ontwikkelen, kom je in aanmerking.
  • Je bent een people manager die graag aanwezig is op de werkvloer.
  • Je kunt standpunten helder onderbouwen en presenteren, ook tegenover Europese stakeholders.
  • Je denkt proactief en durft waar nodig out of the box te denken.
  • Je beheerst Nederlands en Engels goed. Daarnaast kun je je voldoende uitdrukken in het Frans voor contacten op de werkvloer.
