Werving- en selectiekantoor Hays is voor een klant actief binnen de procesindustrie op zoek naar een HSE Manager. Je komt terecht in een organisatie met een uitgebreid machinepark, waar kwaliteit, efficiëntie, veiligheid en continue verbetering centraal staan. Ben je geboeid door veiligheid en preventie en werk je graag nauw samen met leidinggevenden en medewerkers op de werkvloer? Dan kan deze functie een interessante volgende stap zijn in je carrière.

Jouw nieuwe functie

Als HSE Manager vertaal je samen met het plantmanagement en het Belgische HSE-team de veiligheidsstrategie naar een concreet beleid, realistische doelstellingen en een gedragen veiligheidscultuur. Je blijft nauw betrokken bij de werkvloer en rapporteert hiërarchisch aan de Plant Manager.

  • Je ontwikkelt, implementeert en controleert een consistent veiligheids-, gezondheids- en milieubeleid op de site.
  • Je stelt procedures en richtlijnen op en volgt ze op, in lijn met de wetgeving en de geldende managementsystemen.
  • Je detecteert prioriteiten en verbetermogelijkheden door voeling te houden met productieprocessen, werkmethodes en arbeidsprocessen.
  • Je neemt actief deel aan of organiseert HSE-overleg, onder meer binnen het CPBW.
  • Je start programma's, acties en projecten op en stimuleert preventieve verbeteringsacties.
  • Je volgt evoluties, nieuwe ontwikkelingen en wetgeving binnen HSE op.
  • Je stuurt een team van vijf collega's met verschillende expertises aan en borgt genomen initiatieven voor de toekomst.

Jouw profiel

  • Een masterdiploma en enkele jaren relevante ervaring in een industriële omgeving.
  • Een certificaat Preventieadviseur niveau I.
  • Sterke communicatie- en samenwerkingsvaardigheden om je team en interne en externe stakeholders mee te nemen.
  • Een pragmatische aanpak, initiatief en het vermogen om acties duurzaam te verankeren.
  • Een vlotte kennis van het Nederlands en Engels.
  • Een certificaat milieucoördinator A of B is een extra troef.
  • De ambitie om een sterke HSE-cultuur verder te verbeteren.
