Over de organisatie Hays zoekt een technical sales engineer voor een machinebouwer actief in de procesindustrie

Jouw nieuwe functie Als technisch sales engineer volg je projecten op van de eerste klantvraag tot en met de oplevering. Een klant komt met een idee of vraag en jij bekijkt wat technisch haalbaar is, hoe het geproduceerd kan worden en wat hiervoor nodig is.Je vertaalt de klantvraag naar een productiegericht ontwerp en tekent waar nodig zelf zaken uit. Daarnaast maak je calculaties en offertes, vraag je prijzen op bij leveranciers en zorg je ervoor dat productie over alle nodige technische en administratieve informatie beschikt.Tijdens het project ben je de schakel tussen klant, ontwerp en productie. Je overlegt met onder andere de werkvoorbereider, productieleider en laserbedienaar en helpt bij technische vragen of aanpassingen vanuit productie.Je volgt projecten ook praktisch op. Zo ga je indien nodig opmetingen uitvoeren bij de klant en ben je betrokken bij de uiteindelijke oplevering, zowel bij projecten die intern worden uitgevoerd als bij projecten waarbij externe partners betrokken zijn. Op termijn groei je door naar verantwoordelijke.

Jouw profiel

Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Elektromechanica en enkele jaren ervaring binnen een technische B2B-omgeving. Je hebt een goede technische basis en kan werken met 3D CAD, bij voorkeur Creo. Je begrijpt de noden van klanten, denkt oplossingsgericht mee en kan technische informatie op een duidelijke manier vertalen naar zowel klanten als collega's. Daarnaast ben je hands-on, flexibel en schakel je vlot in een kleinere, dynamische organisatie waar je verantwoordelijkheid krijgt en initiatief kan nemen.
