About the Opportunity

HealthOPM is recruiting a Occupational Therapist for a potential temporary or contract assignment with Good Samaritan at a seniors’ care facility in Salmon Arm, BC. This opportunity supports resident care and quality of life. Accommodation may be available, depending on assignment arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Assess residents’ daily living abilities, functional needs and safety.
  • Develop individualized interventions to support independence and participation.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies for safe daily activities.
  • Collaborate with care teams and maintain clinical documentation.

Requirements

  • Recognized Occupational Therapy qualification and current authorization to practise in BC.
  • Seniors’ care, long-term care or rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills.
  • Previous Good Samaritan experience is an asset.
