Team Member Services Specialist – Hillcrest Health & Living Location: Bellevue, NEService Line: Hillcrest Health & Living – Home OfficeSchedule: Full-Time Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for an experienced, personable, and highly organized Team Member Services Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety and wants to be involved in the full team-member experience. From onboarding and benefits to leaves of absence, employee relations, COBRA, ADA accommodations, and team-member questions, you will be a key resource for both employees and leaders across the organization. At Hillcrest, our mission is simple: Inspiring people to live their best lives. As a Team Member Services Specialist, you will help bring that mission to life by creating a responsive, supportive, and consistent HR experience from hire through separation. What You’ll Do As a Team Member Services Specialist, you will support team members and leaders across a variety of Human Resources functions while helping keep important HR processes accurate, compliant, and moving forward. You will:

Support the post-offer hiring and pre-onboarding process for new team members. Assist with new-hire documentation, employee files, and required employment records. Support General Onboarding activities and help ensure new team members are ready for a successful first day. Maintain accurate team-member information within the HRIS. Assist team members with benefits questions, enrollment, eligibility, and deductions. Support COBRA administration, including required notices, enrollment, and related processes. Facilitate and track FMLA and other leave-of-absence requests. Support the ADA interactive process, including accommodation requests, documentation, and coordination with team members and leaders. Serve as a resource for team members and leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, and general employee questions. Provide support with employee relations matters, including performance concerns, workplace issues, coaching, and documentation. Partner with leaders to help address team-member concerns consistently and professionally. Conduct exit interviews and help identify trends or opportunities for improvement. Assist with Workers’ Compensation and unemployment processes. Complete and distribute HR reports, including performance-review tracking and other team-member reports. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Help identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and the overall team-member experience. Jump in wherever needed to support the Team Member Services department.

What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who enjoys being the go-to HR resource for employees and leaders. The right candidate will be approachable, confident, and able to handle everything from a straightforward benefits question to a more complex employee-relations or leave situation. You should be comfortable working with confidential information, navigating difficult conversations, and balancing multiple priorities without losing attention to detail. Ideal candidates will have:

A minimum of two years of Human Resources experience. Hands-on experience with FMLA and leave-of-absence administration. Experience with COBRA administration and employee benefits. Working knowledge of the ADA accommodation and interactive process. Experience supporting employee relations, including performance concerns, workplace issues, coaching, and documentation. Strong knowledge of general HR practices and employment policies. Confidence working directly with both employees and leaders. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally. Strong organization and follow-through. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Comfort learning and working within HRIS and other technology platforms. A proactive, service-focused approach with a natural “How can I help?” mentality.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of Human Resources experience required. Experience in an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, Employee Relations, Benefits, or similar HR role strongly preferred. Hands-on experience with FMLA, COBRA, ADA accommodations, and employee relations required. Experience with employee benefits, onboarding, HRIS administration, Workers’ Compensation, unemployment, or leave administration preferred.

Why Hillcrest Health & Living? This is not a narrowly focused HR role. One day you may be helping a new employee through onboarding, the next you may be walking someone through FMLA, assisting with an accommodation request, helping a leader navigate an employee concern, answering a benefits question, or identifying a process that could work better. That variety gives you the opportunity to continue building your HR knowledge while making a direct impact on the experience of team members across Hillcrest. If you enjoy helping people, solving problems, learning different areas of HR, and being the person others know they can turn to, this could be a great fit. What Hillcrest Offers

Full-time opportunity. Broad exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources. Supportive HR leadership and a collaborative Team Member Services team. Multiple health insurance plan options for eligible team members. Vision, dental, and life insurance. Professional development and career-growth opportunities. Dayforce Wallet, allowing you to choose when you get paid. Gym membership reimbursement and partner discounts. Opportunity to continue developing your HR knowledge and experience. Opportunities to grow within Hillcrest Health & Living.

Physical & Other Requirements

Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must be able to handle sensitive and emotionally challenging situations professionally. Must be flexible and calm when responding to employee or leader concerns. Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Must be able to utilize HR technology and available resources efficiently and effectively. Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds. Must be able to perform repetitive sitting, standing, bending, and movement associated with an office environment. Other duties as assigned.

Ready to Grow Your HR Career? If you have at least two years of HR experience and enjoy employee relations, benefits, leaves, problem-solving, and helping people navigate the moments that matter throughout their employment, we would love to meet you. Join Hillcrest Health & Living as a Team Member Services Specialist and help us continue inspiring people to live their best lives by creating an HR experience that is helpful, responsive, consistent, and genuinely people-focused.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
