Student Services Support Specialist

Compensation Range: $18.04 - $27.49 Position Summary: Hiring hourly range: $18.04 to $19.84 depending on qualifications. Job Summary: Provides specialized clerical support to assigned department(s) to enable effective office operations. Job Duties: • Manage all aspects of financial aid appeals. • Operate the rotary microfilm camera. • Research and resolve complex student problems. • Process requests for out-going transcripts. • Assist in filing and coding first time applications and high school transcripts. • Data entry, calculate and compute corrections to records and reports, maintain and handle confidential student records. • Distribute, collect, check, and enter grade rolls. • Assist with registration. • Perform calculations to determine eligibility for financial aid. • Process incoming mail, answer telephone inquiries, and redirect calls when necessary. • Place orders for textbooks. • Performs other similar and related duties as assigned.
