Jet/Vactor Operator

Location: Fort Myers, Florida Schedule: Full-time | Field operations | Occasional overnight travel

Hire Virtue is partnering with our client in Fort Myers, Florida, to recruit a Jet/Vactor Operator.

Our client provides pipeline inspection, cleaning, and maintenance services that support safe, reliable underground infrastructure. This opportunity offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and room for career advancement.

Position Overview

The Jet/Vactor Operator operates sewer cleaning equipment and supports pipeline cleaning and maintenance projects. This role requires safe driving practices, attention to equipment condition, and a commitment to quality work and customer service. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and operate sewer cleaning pump trucks and related equipment.
  • Perform diagnostics and general maintenance on waste systems.
  • Complete vehicle inspections before each shift and verify equipment is ready for operation.
  • Follow established safety procedures and equipment operating requirements.
  • Support pipeline cleaning and maintenance assignments.
  • Complete related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Travel overnight when required by project assignments.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement.
  • Current DOT medical card.
  • Demonstrated record of safe vehicle operation.
  • Clean driving record for the past three to five years.
  • Previous pipeline experience strongly preferred.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment
  • background check and drug screening.
