The posting

Home Health Services of Virginia is seeking a dedicated PCA/CNA to join our team at the MECHANICSVILLE, VA location for the MWTF 8am-12pm shift. This role involves providing compassionate and professional care to our clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to the nursing staff or supervisor.
  • Provide companionship and support to clients to promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of clients during care visits.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification.
  • Previous experience in home health care preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably during the assigned shift (8am-12pm).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Pass a background check and drug screening.
