Join Home Health Services of Virginia as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Glenn Allen, VA. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8am to 4pm, providing you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing in-home care. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
  • Provide medication reminders and monitor client health status
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to client care
  • Document client progress and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to promote a positive environment
  • Follow all safety and care protocols while adhering to company policies

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid PCA certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Previous experience in home health care or personal care assistance preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation to commute to Glenn Allen, VA
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
