Nordic Key Account Manager, OEM – Accelerating OEM and private-label growth across the Nordics

For Hisense, a global consumer electronics and home appliance company, we are looking for a Nordic Key Account Manager to further develop and accelerate the company’s OEM and private-label business across the Nordic region.

Hisense operates across categories including televisions, home appliances and other consumer electronics, combining a broad product portfolio and strong international manufacturing capabilities with a focus on technology, quality, innovation and market development.

The company is strengthening its focus on OEM and private-label solutions as an opportunity for further growth across Europe. In the Nordic region, the ambition is to expand the business by developing partnerships with retailers, distributors, brand owners and other commercial partners.

In an OEM or private-label partnership, Hisense manufactures products that are sold under a customer’s brand or adapted to specific commercial and product requirements. Developing this business requires a combination of new business development, key account management, product understanding, commercial project leadership and operational coordination.

The role

As Nordic Key Account Manager, OEM, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and commercialising OEM and private-label opportunities across the Nordic markets.

You will build a sustainable pipeline, establish new customer relationships and develop a detailed understanding of customers’ business models, product needs, pricing, volume expectations and operational requirements.

Working closely with Hisense’s Nordic, European and global teams, you will translate these requirements into commercially attractive product solutions. Together with Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality and Supply Chain, you will coordinate product selection and adaptation, including specifications, features, packaging, manuals, labelling and compliance requirements.

You will remain the commercial owner throughout the process, leading negotiations and coordinating implementation from Request for Quotation (RFQ) through product development, production, launch and ongoing deliveries. The role offers significant autonomy and requires the ability to create progress and influence stakeholders across functions, countries and organisational levels. You report directly to the Nordic CEO.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • OEM and new business development: Build the Nordic OEM and private-label pipeline by identifying relevant customers, partners, market segments and sales channels, and lead opportunities from initial prospecting and qualification through proposal development, negotiation and contract signing.
  • Key account management: Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, act as the primary commercial contact and develop assigned OEM customers into long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Product and portfolio development: Translate customer requirements into commercially attractive product solutions and work with Product Management, R&D and Manufacturing to select and adapt suitable Hisense platforms. Contribute market and customer insights to the continued development of the Nordic OEM portfolio.
  • Commercial project and operational execution: Take ownership of OEM projects from RFQ through product development, production and launch, while coordinating forecasts, product availability, order management and delivery performance. Identify risks, resolve issues and ensure a smooth transition into ongoing operations.
  • Commercial and financial management: Develop business cases, pricing and cost calculations, and take responsibility for sales, margins, commercial terms and project profitability. Maintain clear reporting on pipeline, forecasts, orders, performance and commercial risks.

Your background

We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven and entrepreneurial profile who can combine strategic business development with hands-on execution, commercial project leadership and a strong understanding of the full value chain.

You bring relevant experience in B2B sales, key account management, business development or OEM and private-label business. You understand how customer requirements, product development, pricing, manufacturing, supply chain and delivery are connected, and you can coordinate multiple stakeholders to turn commercial opportunities into successful product launches and profitable, long-term business.

You are motivated by developing new business and building customer relationships, while possessing the structure and persistence required to manage long sales and implementation cycles. You can move comfortably between strategic commercial discussions and operational details and understand the importance of aligning customer commitments with product feasibility, factory capacity, costs, quality and delivery capabilities.

Practical experience and demonstrated commercial success are more important than a specific academic background.

You are likely to bring:

  • Commercial experience: 5–10+ years of relevant experience within B2B sales, key account management, business development or OEM and private-label business, including experience developing and acquiring new customers.
  • Relevant industry experience: Experience with complex products, preferably within consumer electronics, home appliances, technology, durable consumer goods, manufacturing or a related industry.
  • OEM and private-label exposure: Experience with OEM, ODM, private label or contract manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Nordic market understanding: Experience working with Nordic customers and markets is highly desirable.
  • Negotiation and financial acumen: Experience leading complex commercial negotiations and working with pricing, cost analysis, margins, forecasts and business cases.
  • Commercial project leadership: Experience coordinating cross-functional projects from customer requirement through product development, implementation, launch and delivery.
  • International collaboration: Experience working with international suppliers, manufacturing organisations or global product development teams.
  • Stakeholder management: Experience working in a matrix organisation and the ability to create progress and influence stakeholders without formal authority.

You possess strong analytical and numerical capabilities and communicate clearly and convincingly. You are independent and self-driven while recognising the importance of close internal collaboration.

An opportunity to accelerate and shape a developing business area

This is not a traditional account management role centred on maintaining an established customer portfolio. It is an opportunity to influence the continued development of Hisense’s Nordic OEM and private-label business across the entire commercial value chain.

You will join a global organisation with strong manufacturing, product development and supply-chain capabilities. The role offers significant ownership and a direct connection between your performance and the company’s Nordic sales growth, portfolio and profitability.

The role is based in Taastrup and involves close collaboration with stakeholders across the Nordics, Europe and Hisense’s global organisation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
