The posting

HealthActiv is currently looking for a Biomedical Engineer who will be responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of a range of equipment.   Key Responsibilities • Install, commission, maintain and repair of medical and laboratory equipment. • Assist in the preparation of site and technical requirements for installation. • Plan and organise regular preventive maintenance and system updates. • Ensure minimum downtime of installed base and maintain appropriate stock of spare parts. • Support team members on various modalities. • Adhere to all health & safety policies and procedures.

Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent qualification. • A minimum of 2 years of proven work experience in biomedical engineering. • Experience in the healthcare industry will constitute an advantage. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • An eye for details with a systematic approach to problem solving. • Customer centric: understand and deliver excellent customer service. • Enjoy interacting and participating in a team environment. • Willingness and ability to learn complex technical information.
