We are seeking highly motivated individuals with the desire to develop a career in sales in the rapidly growing Executive Compensation, Governance, and Cybersecurity space and join a growing software and analytics company. The Business Development Representative is a critical component of the sales process and is responsible for building awareness and generating buying demand for our online and advisory-based solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage prospective client inbound inquiries (website inquiries, webinar registration, etc.).
  • Conduct regular, proactive outreach calls with prospective clients (relationship building) and schedule sales meetings.
  • Identify and communicate sales opportunities to sales team to assist in closing new business.
  • Articulate the firm’s value proposition to decision-makers to aid in new business acquisition.
  • Partner with senior sales executives to hand off qualified leads and facilitate continued development of opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, related study or equivalent experience.
  • Previous relevant business experience a plus.
  • Ability to understand and successfully promote technical offerings and solutions.
  • Superior analytical, verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of team.
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives at prospect firms.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and HubSpot a plus.
  • Solid understanding of social media tools and vehicles including LinkedIn, Twitter, Blogs and monitoring tools.
