Position Purpose The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the administration, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of JCB's IT infrastructure environment. This role serves as a technical expert across multiple infrastructure disciplines, ensuring the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of critical systems while supporting strategic business initiatives and providing advanced technical leadership. Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix operating systems. Manage Microsoft Active Directory environments, including Group Policy administration. Administer and maintain virtualized infrastructure platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V. Configure, manage, and support enterprise storage solutions and disk storage environments. Administer and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring data integrity and business continuity. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance across servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments. Provide technical leadership and infrastructure expertise for business and IT projects. Support and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco Meraki network administration. Create, maintain, and update infrastructure architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and operating procedures. Provide Tier III support for critical incidents, including participation in on-call support rotations and after-hours escalations. Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure service and support expectations are met. Support MDF/IDF environments, including racking, stacking, hardware installations, inventory management, and environmental monitoring. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 10 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments. Minimum 10 years of experience managing data center, MDF/IDF, and infrastructure hardware environments. Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration. Advanced experience supporting virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V. Strong understanding of networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery technologies. Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Azure, AWS, Cisco, NetApp, or related infrastructure technologies. Experience managing enterprise cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and/or AWS. Experience supporting SAP infrastructure environments. Experience with Cohesity, Rubrik, or similar appliance-based backup technologies. Experience administering Cisco Call Manager, Cisco WebEx, or VoIP technologies.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
Expert-level proficiency in three or more of the following areas:

Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be a self-motivated team player. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.
