Direttore di Progetto — Programma svizzero di studio all'estero e formazione esperienziale (Consulente) (professione segnalata) Mansioni: - dirigere la progettazione, l'erogazione e il miglioramento continuo della componente svizzera del programma, garantendo la qualità accademica e la conformità ai requisiti di laurea e di riconoscimento dei crediti dell'istituzione di provenienza. - agire come referente accademico e amministrativo principale tra le attività in Svizzera e le università partner estere. - supervisionare la progettazione del piano di studi e delle attività di apprendimento esperienziale, il coordinamento del corpo docente e l'esperienza accademica degli studenti in Svizzera. - garantire che il programma soddisfi le aspettative delle istituzioni partner in materia di accreditamento, trasferimento crediti e reportistica. - gestire le relazioni con partner accademici, istituzionali e della comunità locale in Ticino. - supervisionare i budget del programma, la reportistica e la conformità operativa nel contesto svizzero. - gestire e coordinare le attività collegate (spin-off) del programma che coinvolgono paesi africani.

Requisiti: - titolo accademico avanzato (Dottorato di ricerca o equivalente) in un ambito pertinente. - significativa esperienza di alto livello nella direzione di programmi universitari di studio all'estero, internazionali o di formazione esperienziale (tipicamente oltre 10 anni). - padronanza madrelingua dell'inglese (il programma prevede un curriculum accademico in lingua inglese e si rivolge a istituzioni partner e studenti anglofoni). - comprovate relazioni professionali con istituzioni di istruzione superiore statunitensi e conoscenza dei sistemi di crediti accademici e di accreditamento degli Stati Uniti. - esperienza comprovata nella progettazione di programmi/curricula e nella pedagogia interculturale. - disponibilità a essere presenti nel Cantone Ticino per almeno 4-6 settimane all'anno.

Titoli preferenziali: - precedente esperienza accademica o di insegnamento nel contesto dell'istruzione superiore svizzero-italiana. - esperienza nell'ottenimento e nella gestione di progetti di formazione internazionale finanziati tramite sovvenzioni (grant). - network consolidato presso organizzazioni internazionali attive nella formazione esperienziale.

The employer is seeking a:

Project Director — Swiss Study Abroad and Experiential Learning Program (Consultant)

Responsibilities: - Direct the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the program's Swiss component, ensuring academic quality and compliance with the home institution's degree and credit recognition requirements. - Act as the primary academic and administrative liaison between activities in Switzerland and foreign partner universities. - Oversee the design of the curriculum and experiential learning activities, faculty coordination, and the students' academic experience in Switzerland. - Ensure the program meets partner institutions' expectations regarding accreditation, credit transfer, and reporting. - Manage relationships with academic, institutional, and local community partners in Ticino. - Oversee program budgets, reporting, and operational compliance within the Swiss context. - Manage and coordinate related program activities (spin-offs) involving African countries.

Requirements: - Advanced academic degree (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant field. - Significant high-level experience directing university study abroad, international, or experiential learning programs (typically over 10 years). - Native-level proficiency in English (the program features an English-language academic curriculum and targets English-speaking partner institutions and students). - Proven professional relationships with US higher education institutions and knowledge of US academic credit and accreditation systems. - Proven experience in program/curriculum design and intercultural pedagogy. - Availability to be present in the Canton of Ticino for at least 4–6 weeks per year. Preferred qualifications: - Prior academic or teaching experience within the Swiss-Italian higher education sector. - Experience in securing and managing grant-funded international training projects. - Established network with international organizations active in experiential learning.
