Das Finanzdepartement der Stadt Zürich steuert als Querschnittsorganisation die Bereiche Finanzen, Human Resources Management, IT, Liegenschaften, Steuern und Wohnbauförderung. Die Finanzverwaltung verantwortet zentrale Finanz- und Steuerungsaufgaben und schafft wesentliche Grundlagen für politische Entscheide. Im Rahmen einer Nachfolgeregelung suchen wir per Frühjahr 2027 eine überzeugende Persönlichkeit als

Direktor*in Finanzverwaltung, 80 – 100 %

In dieser verantwortungsvollen Funktion führen und entwickeln Sie die Dienstabteilung mit rund 50 Mitarbeitenden fachlich, betriebswirtschaftlich und digital weiter. Sie tragen die Gesamtverantwortung für Finanz- und Aufgabenplanung, Budget, Jahresrechnung und Finanzcontrolling und stellen eine nachhaltige Finanzplanung sicher. Für Stadtrat, Gemeinderat und weitere politische Gremien erarbeiten Sie strategische Entscheidungsgrundlagen und gestalten die städtische Finanzpolitik mit. Zudem führen Sie die Geschäftsleitung und repräsentieren die Finanzverwaltung gegenüber internen und externen Anspruchsgruppen.

Für diese anspruchsvolle Führungsaufgabe verfügen Sie über einen Hochschulabschluss in Betriebs- oder Volkswirtschaftslehre, ergänzt durch Weiterbildungen in Führung und Management sowie in öffentlichen Finanzen. Sie bringen umfassende finanzwirtschaftliche und strategische Kompetenzen sowie mehrjährige Führungserfahrung mit. Analytisches und konzeptionelles Denken, ein fundiertes Verständnis politischer Prozesse sowie Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit politischen Behörden zeichnen Sie aus. Sie kommunizieren überzeugend, treten sicher auf und verstehen es, unterschiedliche Anspruchsgruppen für gemeinsame Ziele zu gewinnen.
