Das Departement Gesundheit der OST verbindet Lehre, Forschung und Entwicklung mit der Praxis. Im Kompetenzzentrum Move-IT entwickeln und erforschen wir innovative, technologiegestützte Angebote zur Gesundheitsförderung und proaktiven Demenzprävention. Gemeinsam mit unserem Team an der OST, dem Startup Stepwave sowie externen Forschungs- und Praxispartnern, unter anderem aus der Physiotherapie, bearbeiten wir Fragestellungen, die bestehende Versorgungsangebote verbessern und die Lebensqualität der alternden Bevölkerung fördern. Das Forschungsgebiet: Im Zentrum steht die Entwicklung und Erforschung innovativer Versorgungsmodelle mit digitalen Gesundheitsangeboten und Exergames. Sie gestalten die Weiterentwicklung unserer Exergame-Software mit und untersuchen in Co-Design-Workshops und Nutzertests, wie solche Angebote bedarfsgerecht entwickelt und eingesetzt werden können. Die Forschung verbindet qualitative und quantitative Methoden (Mixed Methods) mit der engen Zusammenarbeit von Wissenschaft und Praxis. Erkenntnisse aus der Forschung sollen unmittelbar in die Gesundheitsförderung und proaktive Demenzprävention einfliessen. Zur Verstärkung unseres Teams im Kompetenzzentrum Move-IT suchen wir per sofort oder nach Vereinbarung eine engagierte Persönlichkeit als Doktorand/in PhD Sie wirken an Forschungsprojekten, der Weiterentwicklung digitaler Gesundheitsangebote und wissenschaftlichen Publikationen mit. Ihre Tätigkeit ist im Departement Gesundheit der OST angesiedelt. ###

Ihr Wirkungsfeld

  • Planung, Durchführung und Auswertung von Forschungsprojekten, insbesondere Co-Design-Workshops und Nutzertests zur Evaluation digitaler Gesundheitsangebote mit Exergames zur Verbesserung der Gesundheitsförderung und proaktiven Demenzprävention mit Mixed-Methods-Ansätzen
  • Weiterentwicklung unserer innovativen Exergame-Software
  • Zusammenarbeit mit dem OST-Team, Stepwave sowie externen Forschungs- und Praxispartnern zur Bearbeitung praxisrelevanter Fragestellungen
  • Mitwirkung an wissenschaftlichen Publikationen und Präsentation von Ergebnissen an Fachveranstaltungen und Konferenzen
  • Betreuung von Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten und Unterstützung Studierender beim Aufbau wissenschaftlicher Kompetenzen

Ihre Expertise

  • Masterabschluss in Game Design, Software Engineering, Computer Science oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet, z. B. Gesundheitswissenschaften, Biomedical Engineering oder Bewegungswissenschaften
  • Idealerweise Vertiefung in Co-Design, Medizinprodukten oder digitalen Gesundheitsangeboten
  • Gute Programmierkenntnisse in JavaScript, Python, Unity oder vergleichbaren Technologien sowie Erfahrung mit oder Interesse an Agentic AI
  • Interesse an und grundlegende Kenntnisse in qualitativen und quantitativen Forschungsmethoden, Co-Design und der Untersuchung der Nutzererfahrung digitaler Gesundheitsangebote, idealerweise Exergames
  • Interesse an Gesundheitsförderung, proaktiver Demenzprävention, Versorgungsforschung und wissenschaftlichem Arbeiten; Erfahrung mit Co-Design im Bereich Geriatrie von Vorteil
  • Selbstständige, strukturierte und kooperative Arbeitsweise sowie ausgezeichnete Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit
