****In sintesi****

Le leguminose alimentari rappresentano una leva importante per diversificare i sistemi colturali, ridurre il ricorso ai concimi azotati e promuovere un'alimentazione più sostenibile. Nonostante un interesse crescente, la loro produzione rimane ancora limitata in Svizzera e la maggior parte delle leguminose consumate è importata. Lo sviluppo di filiere locali si scontra infatti con diverse sfide, dalla produzione fino alla trasformazione e alla commercializzazione. In questo contesto, il progetto Filigrane, finanziato dalla Confederazione svizzera, mira a favorire lo sviluppo di filiere svizzere per le leguminose alimentari. Esso combina la valutazione di varietà adeguate alle condizioni svizzere, l'ottimizzazione delle pratiche colturali, l'elaborazione di scenari per organizzare le filiere nonché lo studio della trasformazione e dei fattori determinanti del consumo. La tesi s'inserisce in questo progetto e sarà co-supervisionata da Agroscope e dall'INRAE (UMR Agronomie), sotto la direzione di Marie-Hélène Jeuffroy.

Agroscope è il centro di competenze della Confederazione per la ricerca nel settore agroalimentare e appartiene al Dipartimento federale dell'economia, della formazione e della ricerca (DEFR). I ricercatori svolgono le loro attività in diverse sedi in Svizzera, quella principale si trova a Berna-Liebefeld (Posieux FR dal 2026).

Il Gruppo di ricerca Tecniche colturali e varietà in campicoltura si dedica alla ricerca di tecniche di produzione sostenibili e di nuove varietà adattate ai cambiamenti climatici, per le principali specie campicole coltivate con diversi metodi di produzione (produzione integrata, label o agricoltura biologica). Per raggiungere il proprio scopo, il Gruppo è attivo nella sperimentazione, principalmente in pieno campo, dal Lago di Ginevra fino alla Svizzera orientale.
