Du suchst eine Aufgabe, bei der du technologisch etwas bewegen und die Zukunft unserer Data & Analytics Landschaft aktiv mitgestalten kannst? Dann bist du bei der CSS genau richtig. Für unseren Agile Release Train (ART) Data & Analytics suchen wir einen Expert Data Engineer (w/m). Gemeinsam mit deinem Team entwickelst du unsere moderne Datenplattform auf Databricks weiter und schaffst die Grundlage für datengetriebene Lösungen im ganzen Unternehmen. In dieser Rolle prägst du unsere technische Ausrichtung entscheidend mit und bringst deine Erfahrung in Datenmodellierung, Architektur und Engineering ein.

So sieht dein Alltag aus ##

  • Zum Herzstück: Du übernimmst die technische Verantwortung für die Weiterentwicklung unserer modernen Datenplattform. Gemeinsam mit deinem Team entwickelst und betreibst du Datenprodukte auf Basis von Databricks und sorgst für eine nachhaltige, skalierbare und zukunftsfähige Datenarchitektur.
  • Du gestaltest aktiv unsere Datenmodellierung und bringst dein Know-how in den Bereichen Data Vault, Data Engineering und moderne Lakehouse-Architekturen ein.
  • Du arbeitest eng mit Product Owner, Team Coach, System Architect, Tech Leads sowie deinem Team zusammen und stellst sicher, dass Architektur, Umsetzung und technologische Ausrichtung optimal aufeinander abgestimmt sind.
  • Du stellst gemeinsam mit dem Team sicher, dass unsere Datenprodukte nicht nur funktional, sondern auch zuverlässig, sicher und wirtschaftlich betrieben werden. Dazu gehören automatisierte Tests, Monitoring, Datenqualitätsmechanismen, CI/CD sowie Performance- und Kostenoptimierung auf Databricks.
  • Als Coach unterstützt du deine Teamkolleginnen und -kollegen bei technischen Fragestellungen und förderst den Wissensaustausch

Das bringst du mit ##

  • Du verfügst über mindestens 7 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Data Engineering und hast ein tiefes Praxiswissen in modernen Datenplattformen wie Databricks sowie in Konzepten der Datenmodellierung - insbesondere Data Vault.
  • Du bringst fundierte praktische Erfahrung mit dbt Core in Verbindung mit Databricks sowie in der Entwicklung und im Betrieb skalierbarer Datenlösungen im Azure-Umfeld mit. Du bewegst dich sicher in Themen wie SQL, Python, Data Engineering und Lakehouse-Architekturen.
  • Idealerweise hast du deine Erfahrung in unterschiedlichen Unternehmen oder Projekten gesammelt und bringst Best Practices sowie neue Impulse für unsere Datenplattform mit.
  • Du setzt technische Leitplanken, führst Architektur- und Code-Reviews durch und unterstützt das Team dabei, robuste, wartbare und testbare Datenprodukte umzusetzen.
  • Komplexe Fragestellungen motivieren dich. Du analysierst Zusammenhänge strukturiert, entwickelst nachhaltige Lösungen und überzeugst mit deiner architektonischen Denkweise sowie einem hohen Qualitätsanspruch.
  • Auch in anspruchsvollen Situationen behältst du den Überblick, vertrittst technische Entscheidungen fundiert und arbeitest partnerschaftlich mit Product Ownern, System Architects und Tech Leads zusammen
