The posting

Ganzheitliche Medizin an der Schnittstelle von Körper und Psyche: Sie betreuen die somatische Gesundheit psychiatrischer Patientinnen und Patienten. In St. Gallen suchen wir per sofort oder nach Vereinbarung eine Fachärztin oder einen Facharzt für Allgemeine Innere Medizin im Pensum von 20 – 50 %. In einer recovery-orientierten Klinik mit universitärer Anbindung übernehmen Sie eine wichtige Rolle im interdisziplinären Team an der Schnittstelle zwischen somatischer und psychiatrischer Versorgung.

Das erwartet Sie bei dieser verantwortungsvollen Aufgabe

  • Sie übernehmen die internistische und allgemeinmedizinische Betreuung der stationären Patientinnen und Patienten
  • Sie führen medizinische Untersuchungen durch, stellen Indikationen und Diagnosen und leiten entsprechende Behandlungen ein
  • Sie beurteilen und behandeln somatische Begleiterkrankungen im psychiatrischen Kontext und optimieren die somatische Medikation
  • Sie arbeiten eng mit Psychiaterinnen und Psychiatern, Psychologinnen und Psychologen sowie dem Pflege- und Therapeutenteam zusammen
  • Sie unterstützen bei der Interpretation von EKG- und Laborbefunden
  • Sie dokumentieren sorgfältig und beteiligen sich aktiv an interdisziplinären Fallbesprechungen

Das bringen Sie mit

  • Facharzttitel für Allgemeine Innere Medizin oder gleichwertiger ausländischer Facharzttitel mit eidgenössischer Anerkennung
  • Interesse an der Arbeit im psychiatrischen Umfeld und Freude an einem ganzheitlichen Behandlungsansatz
  • Selbstständige, verantwortungsbewusste Arbeitsweise und Freude an der Arbeit im interprofessionellen Team
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
