About Us:DeepJudge is Switzerland-s leading AI and ICT scale-up, transforming how law firms and legal departments access and leverage their knowledge. Founded by former Google search engineers with PhDs in AI from ETH Zurich, and backed by top-tier Silicon Valley investors, we are building the intelligence layer that powers the legal industry. Every firm can license the same AI models, but no two firms share the same institutional knowledge. Decades of experience, work product, and precedent are often trapped across systems, underused and inaccessible. DeepJudge makes this expertise instantly available through world-class enterprise search and AI infrastructure, enabling firms to automate workflows, build knowledge-powered applications, and turn experience into a lasting advantage. Our technology is trusted by many of the world-s leading law firms, including Freshfields, Gunderson Dettmer, Holland & Knight, Arent Fox, and Cozen O-Connor. Headquartered in Switzerland with a growing team across North America, we are expanding rapidly and shaping the future of how professional knowledge is discovered and applied. At DeepJudge, we move fast, think rigorously, and care deeply about what we build. We combine cutting-edge research with close collaboration with our clients to deliver solutions that truly make an impact. If you want to be part of a team defining how AI transforms high-stakes knowledge work, this is the place to do it. About the role:As a Forward Deployed Engineer at DeepJudge, you own the technical implementation of our AI search platform for some of the world-s leading law firms. Every customer environment is different: from cloud-native deployments to complex on-premise infrastructure, enterprise identity providers, document management systems, and datasets containing hundreds of millions of documents. Your mission is to ensure customers successfully deploy, integrate, and adopt DeepJudge in their environments. This is a highly technical, customer-facing engineering role that sits at the intersection of software engineering, infrastructure, and enterprise AI. You-ll spend your time deploying software, solving complex integration and infrastructure challenges, troubleshooting production issues during customer implementations, and working directly with engineering teams to continuously improve the product and deployment experience. You-ll collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering to make every deployment faster, more reliable, and easier to operate. If you enjoy solving difficult technical problems, working directly with customers, and seeing the impact of your work in production, this role is for you. No travel is required for this role. Your responsibilities will include: Owning the technical solution end to end, from architecture and hands-on implementation through production rollout and adoption, adapting DeepJudge to the customer-s environment and needs along the way. Deploying and configuring DeepJudge across cloud and on-premise customer environments. Integrating DeepJudge with enterprise systems such as document management systems, identity providers, cloud platforms, and other data sources. Troubleshooting complex issues across deployments, infrastructure, networking, authentication, integrations, and application behavior. Building deployment automation, implementation tooling, documentation, and operational playbooks that make customer deployments faster, easier, and more scalable. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering to solve complex technical challenges and improve both the product and deployment experience. Bringing recurring customer requirements and challenges back to the team and helping turn them into product and engineering improvements. Taking ownership beyond your immediate projects: spotting what is missing, fixing what is broken, and helping us build the processes and tools we need as we scale. You-re a great fit if you: Have 3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, Forward Deployment, Solutions Engineering, or a similar technical role. Have experience deploying or operating enterprise software in production environments. Have experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Azure or GCP. Enjoy working directly with enterprise customers, building trusted technical relationships, and guiding complex implementation projects from kickoff to production. Enjoy troubleshooting complex technical problems that span infrastructure, integrations, and application behavior. Can communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Bonus: Experience with enterprise search, AI/LLM platforms, document management systems, Infrastructure as Code, or experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment What you can look forward to: Owning the deployment of AI systems that power knowledge discovery for some of the world-s leading law firms. Solving challenging engineering problems across enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, authentication systems, and large-scale data environments Working closely with experienced engineers, product teams, and customers to shape both our platform and how it is deployed A high-ownership engineering culture founded by ex-Google search engineers and ETH Zurich AI PhDs, where customer feedback directly influences the product The opportunity to improve deployment tooling, automation, and operational processes as we scale globally A collaborative team in Zurich shaping how AI transforms professional knowledge work. At DeepJudge, we believe great teams are built on diverse perspectives and experiences. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone can thrive. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. If this role excites you, but you feel you don-t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway and tell us why you-d be a great fit.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
