BOS Schweiz ist eine gemeinnützige Artenschutzorganisation mit Sitz in Zürich. Unsere Mission ist es, die letzten Orang-Utans und ihren Lebensraum - den Regenwald in Indonesien - zu retten. BOS Schweiz unterstützt seit mehr als 20 Jahren das grösste Primatenschutzprogramm der Welt: die beiden Orang-Utan-Rettungsstationen der BOS Foundation in Indonesien. Waldschutz- und Wiederaufforstungsprojekte, Projekte für Malaienbären sowie Vorhaben zur nachhaltigen Entwicklung der lokalen Bevölkerung stehen ebenfalls auf unserer Agenda. In der Schweiz leisten wir Öffentlichkeitsarbeit.

Für die Leitung unserer Geschäftsstelle suchen wir eine motivierte Persönlichkeit mit Führungserfahrung und echter Begeisterung für Natur- und Artenschutz.

Ihre Aufgaben

Sie leiten die Geschäftsstelle operativ und strategisch, in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Vorstand und einem erfahrenen Team aus Spezialist:innen (Projektleitung, Fundraising, Kommunikation & Grafik).

  • Führung & Teamentwicklung: Sie leiten das Team kooperativ, fördern dessen Weiterentwicklung und vertreten BOS Schweiz nach innen wie aussen.
  • Finanzen & Controlling: Sie tragen die Gesamtverantwortung für Budget, Finanzmanagement und Reporting gegenüber dem Vorstand.
  • Fundraising-Strategie: Gemeinsam mit dem Fundraising entwickeln Sie die Strategie für Privatspender:innen, Stiftungen, öffentliche Mittel und Unternehmenspartnerschaften weiter.
  • Kommunikation & Repräsentation: Sie repräsentieren BOS Schweiz nach aussen und vertreten die Organisation gegenüber Medien, Partnern und der Öffentlichkeit.
  • Internationale Zusammenarbeit: Sie pflegen den Kontakt zu Partnerorganisationen und vertreten BOS Schweiz im Netzwerk der BOS-Partnerorganisationen und an nationalen und internationalen Veranstaltungen.
  • Organisationsentwicklung: Sie sorgen für funktionierende interne Abläufe und sind die Schnittstelle zwischen Vorstand, Team und Mitgliedern.

Was Sie mitbringen

Voraussetzungen

  • Mehrjährige Führungserfahrung, vorzugsweise im NPO-Bereich
  • Nachgewiesene Erfahrung im Finanzmanagement, inklusive Budgetverantwortung
  • Solides Verständnis für Fundraising, Kommunikation und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Ausgeprägte Innovationskraft, Kooperationsbereitschaft und Konsensfähigkeit, Organisationstalent und hohe Eigeninitiative
  • Hohe soziale und kommunikative Kompetenzen und die Fähigkeit, Menschen für den Schutz der Orang-Utans zu begeistern

Von Vorteil

  • Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit Vorständen oder in der Verbandsarbeit
  • Interkulturelle Kompetenz oder Erfahrung in internationalen Strukturen
  • Kenntnisse von NPO-spezifischen Governance-Anforderungen
