Dein Einsatz für Sicherheit und Freiheit

Der Armeestab (A Stab) unterstützt den Chef der Armee in der Führung des Departementsbereichs Verteidigung und verantwortet die militärische Gesamtplanung und \-entwicklung der Schweizer Armee. Hier werden gemäss den politischen Vorgaben die strategischen Grundlagen, die Streitkräfteentwicklung und die Armee\- und Rüstungsplanung erarbeitet sowie Aufgaben im internationalen Sicherheitskontext wahrgenommen. Die Führung, Steuerung und Koordination sämtlicher übergreifender Querschnittsbereiche (Personal, Finanzen, Immobilien) fallen ebenfalls in den Zuständigkeitsbereich des Armeestabs.

Die Schweizer Armee beschäftigt über 9'000 Mitarbeitende in vier militärischen und rund 200 zivilen Berufen – und dies an 110 Standorten schweizweit. Auch für den Nachwuchs ist gesorgt: Die Schweizer Armee bildet in über 30 Berufen Lernende aus.
