Die Führung, Steuerung und Koordination sämtlicher übergreifender Querschnittsbereiche (Personal, Finanzen, Immobilien) fallen ebenfalls in den Zuständigkeitsbereich des Armeestabs. Die Schweizer Armee beschäftigt über 9'000 Mitarbeitende in vier militärischen und rund 200 zivilen Berufen -- und dies an 110 Standorten schweizweit.
