Koch/ Köchin EFZ

Tobias Giger, Berufsbildner, erzählt dir wie deine Lehre bei uns aussehen könnte: Während deiner dreijährigen Ausbildung wirst du vertiefte Einblicke in die Küche unseres Betriebs erhalten. Während deiner gesamten Ausbildungszeit wirst du von mir als Berufsbildner und meinem Team eng begleitet, individuell gefördert und gezielt auf den erfolgreichen Lehrabschluss vorbereitet. Du lernst das «Mise en place» kennen und bereitest die Arbeitsmittel sowie die Zutaten so vor, dass die verschiedenen Gerichte effizient zubereitet und weiterverarbeitet werden können. Du bereitest kalte und warme Salate zu, kochst Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte, Beilagen, Fleisch- und Fischgerichte sowie Desserts für unsere Bewohnenden und Gäste. Zudem bestellst du Lebensmittel, prüfst deren Qualität und sorgst für eine fachgerechte Lagerung. Zu deinen weiteren Aufgaben gehört das Zusammenstellen von Menüs sowie das ansprechende Anrichten von Speisen. 

Dein Profil

  • Abschluss der Sekundarschule im Leistungszug E (oder Leistungszug A mit guten schulischen Leistungen)
  • Freude an Kochen und am sorgsamen Umgang mit Lebensmitteln
  • Verantwortungsbewusstsein und Zuverlässigkeit
  • Teamfähigkeit
  • Körperliche und psychische Belastbarkeit
  • Bereitschaft zu unregelmässigen Arbeitszeiten
  • Gute mündliche Deutschkenntnisse

Unser Angebot Wir bieten dir eine fachgerechte Ausbildung und eine umfassende Betreuung durch erfahrene Berufsleute. Du erhältst pro Ausbildungsjahr 4-6 Tage individuelle Lernbegleitungen um diverse Themen anzuschauen, sei es schulisch oder praktisch. Du arbeitest in einem gut eingespielten und motivierten Team. Die irides AG befindet sich im Herzen der Stadt Basel und ist mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder dem Velo sehr gut zu erreichen.
