Willst du Teil des Wirtschaftsmotors Schweiz werden und deine berufliche Zukunft beim Kanton Zürich gestalten? Dann bist du bei uns genau richtig. Rund 300 Lernende absolvieren bei uns ihre Ausbildung in 25 verschiedenen Berufen. Davon lernen derzeit rund 70 Jugendliche im ICT-Bereich. Ausbildungsplätze für Informatikerinnen und Informatiker in der Fachrichtung Applikationsentwicklung gibt es beispielsweise bei der Gebäudeversicherung, im Amt für Informatik sowie beim Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamt. Eine rund um die Uhr verfügbare ICT-Infrastruktur ist in der heutigen Arbeitswelt unverzichtbar. Für deren reibungslosen Betrieb sorgen die internen Informatikabteilungen mit ihren Mitarbeitenden und Lernenden.

Die Lehre ###

In der vierjährigen Lehre zur Informatikerin EFZ Applikationsentwicklung / zum Informatiker EFZ Applikationsentwicklung lernst du, moderne Softwareanwendungen zu planen, zu entwickeln, zu testen und weiterzuentwickeln. Deine Ausbildung beginnt mit einem Basislehrjahr, in dem du dir die wichtigsten fachlichen Grundlagen aneignest. Anschliessend arbeitest du mit verschiedenen Programmiersprachen, Tools und modernen Technologien. Du entwickelst Software nach agilen Methoden wie Scrum oder Kanban und setzt gemeinsam mit Kundinnen und Kunden sowie Projektteams innovative ICT-Lösungen um. Dabei beschäftigst du dich mit Themen wie Softwarearchitektur, Datenbanken, Schnittstellen und Benutzeroberflächen. Qualität, Sicherheit sowie der Schutz von Informationen und Daten spielen dabei eine zentrale Rolle.

Die Anforderungen ###

Du besuchst die Sekundarschule A und erzielst gute Leistungen, insbesondere in Mathematik, Deutsch und Englisch. Du interessierst dich für Informatik und technische Zusammenhänge und verfügst über ein ausgeprägtes analytisches und logisch-abstraktes Denkvermögen. Zudem zeichnen dich eine rasche Auffassungsgabe, Teamfähigkeit sowie Freude am Umgang mit Menschen aus.
