Du möchtest dein Wissen und deine Ideen dort einbringen, wo aus komplexen Themen spannende Erlebnisse werden? Im Verkehrshaus der Schweiz verbinden wir Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft und machen Mobilität und ihre Veränderungen für Menschen jeden Alters erlebbar. Wir sammeln die Objekte und Dokumente des schweizerischen Verkehrswesens seit der Industrialisierung. Aktuell umfasst unsere Sammlung ca. 12'000 physische Objekte und 65'000 Dokumente. Folgende Aufgaben erwartet dich:

  • Weiterentwicklung und Implementierung des Sammlungskonzepts
  • Führung des Teams Dokumentationszentrum inkl. öffentlich zugänglicher Bibliothek
  • Kurator / Kuratorin für den Bereich Verkehrsarchiv
  • Leitung der "Fachgruppe Sammlung”, welche sämtliche Sammlungsaktivitäten entscheidet und überwacht
  • Verantwortlich für das digitale Sammlungsmanagement, den Online\-Katalog, die einheitliche Objektdokumentation sowie die Weiterentwicklung der Digitalisierung unserer Sammlungsdokumentation
  • Initiierung und Steuerung von Konservierungs\- und Restaurierungsprojekten sowie Akquise bzw. Sicherstellung der notwendigen Ressourcen
  • Vertretung der Mobilitäts\-Sammlung nach aussen, Pflege des fachlichen Netzwerks und Verfassung wissenschaftlicher Publikationen; Bearbeitung von Recherche\-Anfragen; Verantwortung für ein aktives Leihwesen

Du bist eine strukturierte, kommunikationsstarke und initiative Persönlichkeit, die Verantwortung übernimmt, andere begeistert und Themen gerne vorantreibt.

  • Hochschulabschluss in Geschichte, Kulturwissenschaften oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Sammlungsbereich einer Kulturinstitution
  • Erste Führungserfahrung sowie Erfahrung in der Leitung von Projekten
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in Museumsdatenbanken und digitalem Sammlungsmanagement, idealerweise MuseumPlus
  • Erfahrung in der Konzeption und Umsetzung von Sammlungs\- oder Ausstellungsprojekten
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift; gute Kenntnisse in ösisch; Englisch oder Italienisch von Vorteil
