Das Generalsekretariat (GS-WBF) ist die zentrale Stabs- und Koordinationsstelle im Eidgenössischen Departement für Wirtschaft, Bildung und Forschung (WBF). Es unterstützt und berät den Departementsvorsteher in seiner täglichen Arbeit, ist zuständig für Planung und Kontrolle von Geschäften und erbringt Dienstleistungen zum Beispiel in den Bereichen Human Resources, Finanzen, Informatik, Kommunikation oder Übersetzungswesen für das gesamte Departement.
